Job summary

TheFork, part of the Tripadvisor Group, is seeking a results-driven salesperson in the Netherlands to acquire restaurant customers for our leading booking platform. You will engage owners/managers, present TheFork products, and drive adoption across promotions, tools and marketing solutions.

You will work in a dynamic, international environment with flexible hybrid options, supporting your success with training and a strong support network.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch with good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Identify in-scope restaurants and schedule meetings with owners or managers.
• Present TheFork products and services, including promotions, software tools, booking widgets, training and marketing solutions.
• Engage restaurant managers to explain opportunities, features and benefits of TheFork Manager and network.
• Follow up with prospects through to closing and publishing the restaurant online.

What You Will Do

• After selecting in-scope restaurants, you will proactively contact and schedule meetings with the owners or managers of the restaurants. Your daily activities will be composed of cold-calls, walk-in visits and pre organized meetings to present TheFork products and services.
• You will be in charge of proposing and selling TheFork products and services, including: promotions, advanced software tool, booking widgets installed on the restaurant website, training & marketing solutions.
• You will engage with the Restaurants managers to help them understand the opportunities, features and benefits of the TheFork Manager tool and TheFork network.
• You will follow up with the prospects you engaged with until you close the deal and the restaurant is successfully published online on TheFork and affiliate websites.

Who You Are

You Must Meet These Critical Qualifications

• You speak Dutch fluently, and have a good command of English.
• You are self-driven, results-oriented, and passionate about achieving and exceeding targets.
• You are customer- and sales-oriented with persuasive and influencing skills.
• You are a high-performing professional with proven sales experience, comfortable closing deals in a single call.
• You have experience in business development, preferably in B2B or restaurants/hospitality environments, and are skilled in short-term negotiations.
