Job summary

Unknown company in Rotterdam seeks an RF Field Engineer to install, service and repair satellite antenna systems across maritime, offshore energy and defence sectors. You will be the frontline technician, traveling to vessels and platforms to keep live systems running and resolve issues on site with autonomy.

Regular European travel is expected, with a generous salary up to €60,000 and overtime opportunities. Full onboarding on RF and antenna systems is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven field experience with basic electronics, wiring and cabling.
• Valid EU driving licence.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Valid permit to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and repair satellite antenna systems, including VSAT, Global Xpress and Satellite TV
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently on site
• Attend vessels and offshore platforms for live deployments and repairs
• Support dealers and end users with technical consultation
• Travel across Europe (roughly 10 trips per year), with occasional assignments further afield.

A global leader in stabilised satellite antenna systems is hiring an RF Field Engineer to support connectivity across Commercial Maritime, Offshore Energy and Defence. Based out of Rotterdam with regular European travel, you'll be the frontline face of the company, keeping live antenna systems running for vessels and offshore platforms worldwide. This is a strong route in for hands-on field technicians ready to move into a more specialised, high-tech environment.
