Job summary

ING is looking for a dedicated intern to support the FI Lending team in Amsterdam. The intern will assist with credit analysis, ESG reporting, and workflow tracking, while learning Vantage and NexIA systems.

You will be enrolled at a Dutch university, start mid-November 2026 for a 6-month period, and work a 36-hour week in a hybrid setup. An internship allowance of 700 EUR is provided, along with a company laptop.

Qualifications

• Fluent English skills (verbal and writing).

Responsibilities

• Support FI Lending Specialists with credit analysis of counterparties and with industry credit risk analyses.
• Track approval conditions set by Risk Management and maintain the Weekly Workload list.
• Learn and apply core systems and tools, including Vantage and NexIA for ESG reporting.
• Work independently and with the team, taking ownership and showing attention to detail.
• Proactively communicate progress updates and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Maintain a clear, user-friendly process handover manual documenting recurring intern tasks.
• Contribute to team projects as needed based on priorities and workload.
