Qualifications

The Role:

As a Fault-finding Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining high technical standards within a modern industrial environment. Working in the Netherlands, you will contribute directly to operational reliability, structured problem-solving, and long-term equipment performance.

This role aligns closely with what is internationally known as a Millwright, and in the Dutch market is comparable to an Onderhoudsmonteur / Storingsmonteur with both mechanical and electrical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on complex mechanical and electrical systems;
• Diagnose technical faults and perform accurate root-cause analysis;
• Respond to breakdowns and ensure fast, safe, and effective solutions;
• Work closely with engineering, production, and operations teams;
• Document maintenance activities in line with compliance and safety standards;
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, reliability, and continuity of operations.

Requirements:

• Solid technical background in both mechanical and electrical systems;
• Experience within industrial or infrastructure environments;
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills;
• Able to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams;
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans;
• Professional attitude and willingness to work according to Dutch safety standards.
