Job summary

Fokker Services Group is seeking a Facility Manager to lead the Technical Services team across three Dutch locations, including Woensdrecht, Schiphol and Hoofddorp. You will oversee hangars, offices and grounds, ensure safety and compliance, and drive performance improvements for a high‑risk aviation environment.

You will coach multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and oversee the FMIS system, with frequent travel to all sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level HBO degree or equivalent in a technical/engineering field.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams in an aviation, industrial, manufacturing or utilities setting.
• Strong ability to translate policy into safe, practical execution on the work floor.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize all facility-related activities across hangars, buildings and grounds.
• Oversee installations, tooling and equipment within hangars/workshops.
• Lead, develop and coach Technical Services, Facility Coordinators and reception teams.
• Contractor management and quality control.
• Manage FMIS system (Ultimo) and facility budgets.
• Develop and safeguard facility standards, processes and procedures.
• Report to Director HSEQ & Facility Management and site management.
• Drive environmental and energy management (ISO 14001/50001) and safety standards (ISO 45001).
• Champion continuous improvement and standardization of facility and tooling processes.

As Facility Manager, you are ultimately responsible for facility operations across our three Dutch locations:

• Woensdrecht (Hoogerheide) – main location
• Schiphol (Oude Meer)
• Hoofddorp

You operate in a high-risk aviation environment with hangars, workshops and office facilities, where safety and compliance are non-negotiable. You lead the Technical Services team, Facility Coordinators and the reception team in Hoofddorp.

You work closely with Operations, HSEQ and Site Management, translating policy into safe and practical execution on the work floor.

Your Responsibilities:

In this role, you are responsible for managing and optimizing all facility-related activities, including:

• Maintenance and management of hangars, buildings and grounds
• Management of building-related installations
• Oversight of tooling and equipment within hangars and workshops
• Leading, developing and coaching your teams
• Contractor management and quality control
• Managing the FMIS system (Ultimo) and facility budgets
• Developing and safeguarding facility standards, processes and procedures
• Reporting to the Director HSEQ & Facility Management and site management

You also play a key role in:

• Environmental and energy management (ISO 14001 / 50001)
• Security and access control
• Machine and workplace safety (ISO 45001)
• Continuous improvement and standardization of facility and tooling processes

We are looking for someone with:

• Bachelor-level working and thinking capability (HBO level)
• Proven experience in facility or technical management (preferably within aviation, industry, manufacturing or utilities)
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
• Strong technical understanding of buildings, installations and machine safety
• Experience with an FMIS system (Ultimo is a plus)
• Willingness to regularly be present at all locations
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
