Job summary

Thundersoft in Rotterdam seeks a proactive Facility Engineer to support IDC operations, ensuring stability, availability and security of data center infrastructure including power, HVAC and low-voltage systems. This on-site role handles incidents, performs maintenance, and contributes to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Full-time associate degree or equivalent.
• Preferred major: Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or related fields.
• At least 1 year of relevant industry experience.
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure and IDC operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform 5×8 on-site duties at the IDC as per client requirements.
• Update and maintain infrastructure information with high accuracy.
• Conduct facility inspections and review MOPs and EOPs.
• Diagnose IDC infrastructure faults and restore services quickly.
• Apply monitoring, capacity and security management to improve operations.
• Create and implement change MOPs, ensuring no incidents from changes.
• Complete other tasks as outlined in the Service Contract and related attachments.
