Job summary

Mission Design & Automation in the Netherlands is seeking a Fabrication Apprentice to join the FAB/CNC team. This entry-level role will report to FAB/CNC team leads and work with other team members to perform saw operations, basic machining, and light assembly tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn fabrication, an aptitude for reading mechanical drawings, and the ability to use measurement tools to assemble extrusion assemblies to print.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification (Vocational education preferred)
• Valid driver's license
• Demonstrated competency in operating sawcut and related machinery
• Ability to obtain Hi-Lo and Aerial Platform and Overhead Crane License

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sawcut machines and associated equipment (band saw, chop saw, abrasive saw, belt sanders, etc.)
• Basic machining operations
• Sort, organize and stage sawcut materials for CNC operations
• Cut, kit, and assemble aluminum extrusion assemblies to print
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and organized work area
