Job summary

The Social Hub Maastricht is seeking an F&B Supervisor to guide the front-of-house team through each shift, keeping energy high and service smooth while coordinating with the Restaurant Manager.

You''ll help new team members settle in, ensure daily operations run like a well-oiled machine, and also support Front Office when needed. If you thrive in a hybrid hospitality environment, speak English and Dutch, and enjoy guest-facing roles, this is for you.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a senior waiter, barista or bartender role
• Ability to lead by example and stay calm during busy periods
• Fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages a bonus

You’re the kind of person who loves being in the middle of the action, and that’s exactly where this role lives. As our F&B Supervisor, you guide the team through each shift while keeping the energy high and the service smooth. You set the tone on the floor, support the crew when things get busy, and make sure our guests leave smiling. You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager, help new team members find their rhythm, and keep daily operations running like a well-oiled machine. In addition to your F&B responsibilities, this role also supports our Front Office operations. While your main expertise may be in F&B, you’ll also be expected to learn the Front Office side of the business, support the team with questions and take responsibility for Front Office operations when needed.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the front-of-house team during service and set a positive, upbeat tone
• Guide your crew on the floor, helping them solve small issues in the moment
• Support training and onboarding for new team members
• Keep daily operations smooth by checking setups, stock, cleanliness and safety
• Stay present on the floor, chat with guests and jump in where needed
• Handle transactions accurately and pass on any irregularities
• Share targets for the shift and motivate the team to reach them
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to keep service flowing
• Support Front Office operations when needed, including answering questions, assisting the team and taking responsibility for Front Office operations during your shift
• Be willing to learn the key processes and responsibilities of both F&B and Front Office, and flex between the two departments based on the needs of the operation

What You’ll Have

• You have 1-2 years of experience in a senior waiter, barista or bartender role
• You bring confidence leading a team during service
• You communicate clearly and stay calm when things get busy
• You have an eye for detail and keep service consistent
• You bring genuine hospitality energy and enjoy being guest-facing
• You work well with different teams and lead by example
• You speak English and Dutch, extra languages are a bonus
