Overview

During your internship you will learn how a Food & Beverage department operates from a supervisory perspective. You will be involved in preparing bills and invoices, creating staff schedules, and handling guest complaints and feedback. You will maintain oversight and step in whenever necessary. You are enthusiastic, know how to motivate the team, and ensure a positive atmosphere on the work floor.

Program

Tailor Made Traineeship (TMT) at Leonardo Hotels provides an experience for the ambitious hospitality professional. As a trainee, you are automatically enrolled in the TMT program and can experience multiple hotels and departments. You attend expert sessions on topics such as Marketing and Finance, receive motivation and coaching from a personal coach, develop leadership skills, and connect with other HBO interns through TMT classes and social events.

Organization

LEONARDO ROYAL HOTEL AMSTERDAM – The newest hotel of the chain, located directly at metro station Overamstel. This 4-star superior hotel is positioned five minutes from the Zuidas and the RAI, ten minutes from the city center, and twenty minutes from Schiphol Airport. The hotel has 18 floors and 490 rooms with contemporary design and modern equipment.

Qualifications

• Internship allowance for HBO students: €750 gross per month (€670 internship allowance + €80 expense allowance). Payment is made in variable periods of 4 or 5 weeks
