Job summary

PAL Technical Services, a leader in full-service aircraft maintenance, invites expressions of interest from experienced AMEs to join our Canadian and international bases. You’ll contribute to maintenance, repair and overhaul activities for Dash 8 aircraft and related line maintenance tasks, ensuring safety and reliability across operations.

Preferred qualifications include a Transport Canada AME course and an M2/E license, with strong troubleshooting, teamwork and adaptability to varying shifts

Qualifications

• Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed.
• Experience on Dash 8 family preferred.
• Flexibility to work all shifts and adapt to schedules.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform flight line maintenance on Dash 8 aircraft.
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems as needed.
• Work independently or in teams to ensure safety and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations.

Our Operations:

PAL Airlines is proud to be an Air Canada Express carrier, partnering with Air Canada to support and strengthen regional air service across Eastern Canada. Since our first Air Canada Express flight in 2023, our partnership has continued to grow, expanding our fleet and our role in connecting communities throughout Eastern Canada. This collaboration creates exciting opportunities for our team by serving more passengers and reaching more markets across Eastern Canada.

Our Flight Line Maintenance involves all maintenance checks and repairs carried out in the flight line, i.e. between flights or overnights. The work done by our Flight Line team includes layover checks up to A-checks, expert troubleshooting, engine changes, and propeller replacements.

• Our team currently maintains DHC-8 aircrafts

We are currently looking for in the following areas:

• Sept-Iles, QC
• Wabush, NL

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required: Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as IC S;
• Preferred: M2, or E license or equivalent rating.
• Experience in flight line operations would be considered an asset;
• Experience on the following aircraft is preferred:
• Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
• Troubleshooting skills;
• Must possess strong interpersonal, decision-making, organization and communication skills; and
• Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations.
• Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
