Expert Comics – Tintin & Dutch Traditional Comics is seeking an Expert for Tintin, Dutch and Traditional Comics to manage and curate high-quality auctions for the Netherlands and Belgium. Use your market knowledge to attract bidders and ensure fair, transparent seller/buyer experiences.

By combining commercial insight with subject matter expertise, you will strengthen the quality, relevance, and performance of your auctions, while collaborating with Sales and Marketing to grow the auction

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and arrange comic book lots submitted by users, ensuring quality and relevance.
• Create attractive lot listings weekly; review titles, descriptions, and images, and provide accurate value estimates.
• Maintain fairness by accepting or rejecting submissions in a professional manner.
• Curate auctions that attract bidders and drive strong performance.
• Collaborate with Sales to attract new sellers and diversify the auction selection.
• Partner with Marketing to increase bidder attention and engagement.

Your Mission

As an Expert for Tintin, Dutch and Traditional Comics, you will manage and curate high-quality auctions for the Netherlands and Belgium region. Your mission is to use your market knowledge and network to create compelling auctions that attract bidders and ensure a fair and transparent experience for sellers and buyers.

By combining commercial insight with subject matter expertise, you will strengthen the quality, relevance, and performance of your auctions.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate and arrange comic book lots submitted by users, ensuring quality and relevance
• Create attractive and engaging lot listings on a weekly basisReview lot titles, descriptions, and images, and provide accurate value estimates
• Maintain fairness and transparency by accepting or rejecting submissions in a professional manner
• Curate auctions that attract bidders and drive strong performance
• Collaborate with the Sales team to attract new sellers and diversify the auction selection
• Partner with the Marketing team to increase bidder attention and engagement

What You’ll Bring

• Passion and expertise in Comics, with strong knowledge of the industry
• Excellent commercial skills, including proven negotiation and relationship-building experience
• Strong network within the Comics industry
• Ability to work autonomously and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Good command of Dutch and English, preferably French
