Job summary

Catawiki is seeking an Expert for Tintin, Dutch and Traditional Comics to manage and curate high-quality auctions for the Netherlands and Belgium. You will leverage market knowledge and industry connections to create compelling listings and ensure fair, transparent experiences for sellers and buyers.

You will collaborate with Sales and Marketing to grow the audience and improve auction performance, while maintaining high standards in submission evaluation and value estimation.

Qualifications

• Proven negotiation and relationship-building experience.
• Strong network within the Comics industry.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Good computer skills and proficiency with standard office software.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; French preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and arrange comic book lots submitted by users, ensuring quality and relevance.
• Create attractive and engaging lot listings on a weekly basis.
• Review lot titles, descriptions, and images, and provide accurate value estimates.
• Maintain fairness and transparency by accepting or rejecting submissions professionally.
• Curate auctions that attract bidders and drive strong performance.
• Collaborate with Sales to attract new sellers and diversify auction selection.
• Partner with Marketing to increase bidder attention and engagement.
