Job summary

Noorderlicht is a unique hospitality venue in Amsterdam serving as a restaurant, cultural space, and event location. We seek an Experienced Waiter/Waitress to welcome guests, advise on menus, and deliver excellent service across dining and events. You’ll work with the kitchen, bar, and events teams, staying calm during busy periods.

Qualifications

At least one year of experience as a waiter or waitress in a professional restaurant.
Strong hospitality and guest-service mindset.
Excellent communication and a professional attitude during busy services.
Fluent English; Dutch language is a plus.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist guests throughout their visit.
Take orders, provide menu recommendations, and serve food and drinks.
Maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant and terrace.
Work with our Dish POS system and coordinate with kitchen, bar, and events team.
Collaborate with colleagues across restaurant service, terrace, events, and festivals.
Ensure outstanding hospitality every day.
