Job summary

Scaler Company is seeking a creative events and community lead to own our events, community and content within a compact team. You will manage concepts to follow-up, develop playbooks, and balance own and client events.

Plan, coordinate and deliver on time and on budget, shape proposals and client conversations, and bring in sponsors when possible. English required; Dutch a plus; 32–40 hours per week with travel costs outside Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in event management, community building or similar.
• Creative and highly organised with ownership mindset.
• Commercial thinking and client-facing experience.
• English fluency; Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organise and manage own and client events from concept to follow-up.
• Develop and refine event playbooks and content for each event.
• Build and grow engaged communities around Scaler Company and clients.
• Create compelling content (announcements, recaps, photos, video).
• Plan, coordinate and keep projects on time and on budget.
• Support proposals, sponsorship outreach, and freelancer management.
