Just Eat Takeaway.com in Amsterdam is seeking an Event Coordinator to support the Global Events team across markets. You will coordinate logistics, on-site support, vendor coordination and manage pre- and post-event tasks.

You will draft event copy, support budgeting and PO processing, and help keep timelines and calendars on track while collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver flawless flagship events like JET LIVE. Fluency in Dutch is a plus.

About this role:

The Global Events team within People Communications delivers our flagship internal experiences that connect, inspire and engage our JETers across the world.

JET LIVE is one of our events: a marquee global all-hands experience, a live streamed event that connects our teams across our international office locations, bringing our community together to celebrate wins, share strategy and strengthen our culture.

As an Event Coordinator, you'll be the go-to operational support for the Global Events team. You'll assist in coordinating and executing events flawlessly across all our markets and support with logistics, supplier coordination, event technology platforms, on-site support and all the detailed groundwork that makes our events run smoothly. You'll work closely with the Senior Global Events Manager and support to ensure every event is perfectly orchestrated, from pre-event planning through to post-event wrap-up.

These are some of the key components to the role:

• Core responsibility: Provides foundational operational and logistical support to the Global Events team. Creating toolkits and efficient way of working for the team.
• Ground support: Liaises with the Global Event manager, supports with coordinating local logistics (room setups, catering and contingency plans).
• Administrative support: Supports with the Flagship events of JET, the calendar and timelines, assists with budget tracking, raises Purchase Orders and processes (new) suppliers and invoices. Keeps the team informed of progress and flags issues early.
• JET LIVE: Drafts engaging event copy and promotional materials to drive internal awareness and attendance. Assists with updates to the JET LIVE intranet page and internal comms together with the content & campaigns team.

What will you bring to the team?

• Proven experience in events administration, coordination or operations, ideally in a fast-paced or international environment. Or strong evidence of capability in a related administrative or operational discipline.
• Organised and detail-oriented: You love bringing order to complexity.
• Comfortable with vendors and suppliers: You can communicate clearly with external partners or internal stakeholders
• Tech-comfortable: Familiar with event platforms, registration systems, spreadsheets and common tools. You are eager to learn new systems and problem-solve when issues arise.
• Fluency in Dutch is a plus.
• Good communicator: Clear written and verbal communication skills. You can relay important information to team members and stakeholders.
• Flexible and responsive: You thrive on structure and processes, but you also roll with the punches when last-minute changes happen. You stay calm under pressure.
• Team player: You bring energy, a positive attitude and a can-do spirit to your work. You love supporting your team and celebrating wins together.
