Job summary

Dentsply Sirona is seeking a Transportation Analyst to drive cost control, carrier performance, and service improvements across the European network. The role focuses on developing initiatives, managing spend, and negotiating rates with carriers.

Ideal candidates will have strong analytics, cross-functional project experience, and fluency in English. Travel up to 15% is expected, with opportunities in a global dental products leader.

Qualifications

• Up to 15% travel.
• Knowledge of European transportation regulatory requirements, contracts, language, and insurance requirements.
• Extensive industry knowledge with ability to influence carrier leadership.
• Working knowledge of European carrier operations, rate structures and contracts.
• Fluent in English (verbal & written, C1).
• Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills across organization levels.
• Strong analytics and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with transportation team to resolve issues.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and sustainability of the service provider network for cost control and performance metrics.
• Develop an annual initiative pipeline to meet goals and deliver cost certainty.
• Lead cost, quality, and service improvement projects and report results.
• Lead RFQ processes to achieve freight savings and better customer service.
• Coordinate carrier reviews to drive continuous improvement and opportunities.
• Review and manage transportation activity and spend for sites and carriers.
• Manage relationships between transportation operations and freight pay & audit.
• Negotiate carrier rates balancing capacity, service and quality.
• Develop the carrier portfolio and assess new carrier offerings.
• Ensure controls support contractual, insurance, and risk-management compliance.
