Job summary

Aramex Netherlands seeks a Procurement Manager to drive Europe-wide procurement with a focus on the Netherlands and Ireland. You will act as procurement focal point, develop local strategies, and manage P2P processes.

You'll collaborate with Operations, Finance, Legal and Contracts, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure policy compliance and cost savings while maintaining supplier performance across stations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with additional procurement qualification such as CIPS or similar.
• Good communication and negotiation skills with commercial acumen.
• Experience with SAP/Ariba modules.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience.
• International experience in Europe, focus Netherlands and Ireland.
• Dutch and English speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary procurement focal point for suppliers and internal stakeholders across assigned stations.
• Develop and implement localized procurement strategies to optimize third-party spend.
• Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers in coordination with relevant teams.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and SLAs to achieve best value.
• Lead tendering activities and conduct commercial evaluations and recommendations.
• Manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay cycle and issue purchase orders accurately.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery issues and invoicing queries.
• Ensure compliance with policies, legal requirements and governance.
• Coordinate with global procurement teams to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
