Job summary

LyondellBasell, a global leader in the chemical industry, is seeking a Director Manufacturing MBS Europe to oversee 10 masterbatch sites across Europe. You will staff, mentor, and drive strategies, capital investments, and safety performance while championing high standards of quality and service.

You will manage a diverse, multi-site organization in a matrix environment and coordinate with asset managers, marketing, sales, and central planning to ensure site success across the region.

Qualifications

• Engineering or science degree is required.
• Min 20 years of relevant industry experience.
• Min 5 years as site manager preferred.
• Experience in international assignments and multicultural environments.
• Experience in managing remote, international teams.
• Strong English communication skills; other European languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a culture prioritizing safety, environment, and cost efficiency.
• Direct sites via site managers ensuring compliance with laws and standards.
• Mentor staff development and career planning to build a strong organization.
• Ensure sites are staffed with well-trained personnel.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business priorities.
• Manage annual operations and capital budgets for sites and region.
• Develop KPIs and reporting for the sites and collaborate with business partners.
• Build business acumen and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
