Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Labour and Employee Relations Specialist to lead complex ER matters across the Netherlands and Belgium. The role focuses on legally sound, business-aligned outcomes and collaboration with the People Partner Team.

The position may be based in the Netherlands or Belgium with travel between countries; onsite work in Medemblik and Hoegaarden is required for meetings and consultations. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Law or related field; several years of progressive experience in Labor & Employee Relations.
• Knowledge of Dutch and Belgium labor law and procedures relating to works councils and labor unions.
• Experience supporting reorganisations, restructurings or transformations across a multi-country European scope.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a multi-country matrix organisation with broad stakeholder scope.
• Willingness to be locally present onsite in Medemblik and Hoegaarden for face-to-face meetings; fluent English essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support on complex employee and labour relations matters by coordinating consultation and negotiation with employee representative bodies.
• Structure, support and advise People Partners in consultation and negotiation processes across the region; prepare required documentation and agreements.
• Act as lead LER partner for reorganisations, restructurings and transformation initiatives; support operating model changes.
• Lead and support complex workplace investigations and performance management processes; ensure fair, compliant outcomes.
• Escalation point within Cytiva’s HR operating model for high-risk ER matters; drive policy improvements and best practices.
