Job summary

Eva Pharma in Amsterdam seeks an Europe IP Manager to protect and monetize intellectual property across European markets. The role aligns IP strategy with business development and supports licensing, distribution, and collaboration models.

The candidate will have extensive experience with European IP portfolios, patent prosecution, and cross-functional collaboration with BD, Legal, Regulatory, and R&D to mitigate risks and maximize value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or Biotechnology.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Intellectual Property management within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Proficiency in interpreting IP laws in Europe and managing European IP portfolios.
• Hands-on experience supporting B2B pharmaceutical deals, including Licensing-in / licensing-out, distribution and supply agreements, and co-development and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage European IP strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee patent filings, prosecution, maintenance, and renewals; conduct invalidation studies and oppositions.
• Support BD with deal evaluation, due diligence, term sheets and contract negotiations.
• Review and negotiate IP-related clauses in licensing, distribution, and confidentiality agreements.
