We are looking for an Employment Counsel to join our team based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Your role will be to support pan-Europe employment law related matters including:

  1. Drafting templates and advising on particular matters through the entire employment lifecycle
  2. Supporting the overall transaction lifecycle including negotiation planning and conduct of negotiations with clients
  3. Handling Acquired Rights Directive matters
  4. Advising on labour law related matters
  5. Training relevant internal stakeholders on best practices and modifications of employment law
  6. Reviewing compensation and benefits policies and HR policies
  7. Advising on employment-related disputes, including litigation
  8. Managing outside counsels

This role is dynamic, requiring adaptability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment. Since the role carries pan-Europe responsibility, the ability to interact across cultures and geographies is a key requirement.

Qualifications

You must be qualified to practice law in any EU jurisdiction with at least 8+ years of PQE as a practicing lawyer or in-house employment counsel within a global organization. Proficiency in English and one or more European languages is advantageous. Experience with ARD/TUPE matters related to IT outsourcing deals is essential for this role.
