Job summary

Driscoll’s Europe seeks an experienced Europe Controller to safeguard financial integrity across the Dutch and Iberian entities and to lead the European Financial Control team from Breda. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution, driving close processes, control improvements and audits.

The role requires strong knowledge of Dutch and US GAAP, plus experience in audits, technical accounting guidance and cross-functional collaboration within a multinational organization.

Qualifications

• Post-qualification experience in financial control, accounting or audit.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and Dutch reporting requirements.
• Good understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience leading audits and handling complex financial reporting.
• Experience managing and developing a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the Europe Financial Control team.
• Ensure accurate, complete and timely monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting.
• Maintain integrity of financial statements for Dutch and Iberian entities.
• Oversee statutory accounts, tax and regulatory reporting.
• Lead external audits and respond to findings and recommendations.
• Strengthen internal controls and monitor working capital trends.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Tax, BP&A and Global Finance stakeholders.
• Drive standardisation and improvement of financial processes.
