Job summary

GAC Motor Europe B.V. is seeking a Homologation & Product Compliance Specialist to join our Amsterdam-based team.

You will ensure EU vehicle homologation, certification and regulatory compliance across European markets, coordinating with authorities and internal teams to support launches and lifecycle compliance. The role requires a degree in automotive/engineering, knowledge of WVTA/UNECE regulations, and fluency in English, with travel within Europe possible.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is required; additional languages (Chinese) are a plus.
• Experience with automotive homologation, type approval or regulatory affairs is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support vehicle homologation, type approval and product compliance for European markets.
• Monitor EU/regional legislation and assess impact on products.
• Prepare and manage technical documentation for approvals and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with authorities, labs, and cross-functional teams.
• Support vehicle registration activities and country-specific requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ELV, Battery Regulation, REACH, WEEE, PPWR, and F-Gas.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Planning, Quality, Legal, Supply Chain and Sales.
