Job summary

Independent Recruiters Groep BV is seeking a proactive Trade Compliance Specialist (Temporary) to manage EU/UK import/export operations from Rotterdam. The role focuses on Incoterms, HS classifications, export controls, and origin proofs, with oversight of brokers and AEO procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in customs/trade or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in customs and trade compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily customs operations and compliance for EU/UK region.
• Advise internal teams on Incoterms, HS classifications, origin rules, and sanctions/embargoes.
• Oversee customs broker performance and maintain AEO/special procedures (IPR/OPR).
• Utilize SAP/GTS and optimize trade workflows.
• Provide regulatory monitoring and training to stakeholders.
