Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Sr Trader EU Gasoline Components and Oxyfuels to lead the trading book across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will manage risk, craft strategies, and align regional trading with corporate objectives.

You will mentor junior traders and schedulers, coordinate with commercial operations, and drive value through arbitrage and blending while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive commodity trading or related leadership experience.
• Proven success in gasoline trading portfolios and asset-backed businesses.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks across global markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Gasoline Components and Oxyfuels trading book in Europe, Middle East and Africa under direction of the Global Head.
• Mentor traders and coordinate with commercial operations and analytics.
• Oversee liquids production portfolio including MTBE, ETBE, ethanol with focus on optimization.
