Job summary

Verifone is seeking a Compliance Officer based in Amsterdam (Hybrid) to lead ESG and Product Compliance within the Global Compliance team. You will manage regulatory programs, advise on items affecting Verifone Group entities, and support risk and governance across the organization.

The role requires 4+ years in compliance, experience in a regulated environment, and the ability to train regulators and leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of compliance experience.
2-3 years with a law firm, consulting or in-house experience.
Experience with a regulated manufacturing or hardware environment.
Governance & strategic expertise.
Demonstrated expertise in ESG, sustainability reporting and product compliance.
Analytical with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to train regulators and Verifone Group Senior Leadership.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance for the Verifone Group entities and oversight of outsourced activities.
Provide advice on regulatory items affecting Verifone.
Manage ESG and Product Compliance Programs.
Educate and coach staff on compliance best practices.
Coordinate sustainability assessments and reporting (CSRD/ESRS, TCFD, etc.).
