Job summary

Chapman Tate Associates is seeking an experienced Senior ERP Finance Consultant with a strong grasp of accounting and financial processes to help clients implement and optimize ERP solutions across manufacturing and distribution environments.

The role focuses on finance-led ERP consultancy rather than deep development, with cross-training into Epicor Kinetic offered.

Qualifications

Senior ERP Finance Consultant – Manufacturing ERP

Location: Netherlands / Belgium / Germany

Travel: Western Europe & Nordics – typically a few days at a time

ERP: Epicor Kinetic – full cross-training available

Are you an experienced ERP Finance Consultant with a strong understanding of accounting and financial processes?

Perhaps you've built your career around Unit4, Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, iplicit, COINS, Infor or another finance-led ERP platform and would like the opportunity to broaden your experience into Epicor Kinetic.

We are recruiting for an established ERP solutions business that is continuing to grow its European consulting capability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance-heavy ERP Consultant who understands how businesses use ERP to manage their financial operations and is comfortable working directly with customers to design and deliver effective solutions.

What we're looking for

Your strength should be Finance and ERP consultancy rather than deep technical development.

You'll ideally have experience across areas such as:

• Financial accounting and reporting
• Fixed Assets
• Banking and cash management
• Budgeting
• Tax and financial controls
• Multi-company / multi-entity environments
• Procurement and Sales-to-Cash
• Requirements gathering and process mapping
• ERP configuration
• UAT, go-live and post-implementation support
• Customer workshops and training

Experience working with manufacturing or distribution businesses would be particularly valuable, as a significant proportion of the customer base operates within these sectors.

Do I need Epicor Kinetic experience?

No.

Existing Epicor Kinetic experience would be welcomed, but it isn't essential.

We're equally interested in strong ERP Finance Consultants coming from platforms such as Unit4, Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, iplicit, COINS, Infor, SAP Business One or similar ERP solutions.

The key is having a strong understanding of finance, accounting processes and ERP implementation and the ability to transfer that knowledge into a new platform.

Training and cross-training into Epicor Kinetic can be provided.

What about technical skills?

You don't need to be an ERP Developer.

However, you should have enough technical awareness to understand what modern ERP tools can achieve and be comfortable working alongside technical consultants when designing customer solutions.

Knowledge of areas such as reporting, integrations, APIs, workflows, automation, dashboards or data tools would therefore be advantageous.

The role

You'll work with customers across Western Europe and the Nordic region, helping them implement, optimise and get greater value from their ERP environment.

You'll be involved throughout the consulting lifecycle – from discovery and requirements gathering through solution design, configuration, implementation, testing, training and go-live.

There will be semi-regular European travel, generally for a couple of days at a time, so you'll need to be comfortable working directly with customers across different countries.

• Have strong ERP Finance / Financials consulting experience
• Understand accounting principles and financial processes
• Have delivered ERP implementations for customers
• Ideally have manufacturing or distribution ERP exposure
• Are comfortable in customer-facing consulting environments
• Can translate business and finance requirements into ERP solutions
• Have an awareness of ERP technical capabilities without necessarily being a developer
• Are happy to travel throughout Western Europe and the Nordics
• Are based in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany
