Job summary

A leading hydrography and geophysics firm in Amsterdam is seeking an Equipment & Logistics Coordinator to manage survey equipment logistics across projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of planning or logistics experience, strong administrative skills, and be comfortable using tools like ERP and Excel. This diverse role involves coordinating equipment rentals, working closely with project teams, and ensuring the timely delivery of equipment. • 2+ years of experience in planning, logistics, coordination, or operations support.
• Strong administrative skills and experience with ERP, planning tools, or databases.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Experienced with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Available for 40 hours per week
• Based within commuting distance of Amsterdam

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the use of owned survey equipment across multiple projects.
• Coordinate the rental of additional equipment with external suppliers when required.
• Organise and coordinate all logistics related to equipment shipments, mobilisations, and returns worldwide.

• Maintain contact with suppliers regarding outsourced repairs, maintenance, and certifications

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date equipment planning and administration in relevant systems such as the equipment database
• Respond to ad-hoc changes in project priorities and adjust plans accordingly
• Actively explore and help implement improved planning, administration, or equipment management tools
• Actively follow up with engineers and stakeholders to ensure timely and complete information
• Support People & Project planning continuity during peak workloads or occasional absences
• Comfortable with occasional availability outside office hours as part of a rotating duty schedule

Job description

As Equipment & Logistics Coordinator at Deep B.V., you are responsible for the planning, coordination, and administration of survey equipment across our projects. You ensure that both owned and rented equipment is planned, available, certified, and delivered on time.

You work closely with the People & Project Planner as part of a stable planning team, ensuring alignment between personnel and equipment planning and contributing to continuity during peak periods or absences. You are also the key link between planning, the Lead Engineer, suppliers, and project teams. You report to the Planning & Resources Manager.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES.
