Job summary

Eurofins in Leiden is seeking an Equipment Lifecycle Engineer to ensure compliance of systems throughout their lifecycle. The role involves maintenance, calibration, and validation of laboratory equipment, as well as training staff. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field, with at least one year of experience in a QA/GMP environment. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a QA/GMP-regulated environment.
• Previous laboratory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Perform calibration work on utilities and laboratory equipment.
• Perform validation/qualification of laboratory equipment.
• Train and advise colleagues in the use, maintenance, calibration and validation of utilities and laboratory equipment.

Skills

Fluency in English

Basic understanding of Dutch

Proficiency in MS Office

Laboratory experience

Affinity with general IT systems

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
