Job summary

WWF Netherlands (WWF-NL) in Zeist, the Netherlands, seeks an Environmental & Social Impact Lead (Blended Finance) for a 40-hour week. The role focuses on governance, risk management and impact reporting across blended-finance initiatives within climate and nature projects.

You will work with the DFCD program team and partners to advance nature-positive finance, support grant/TA structures, and publish thought leadership on biodiversity and climate resilience. Hybrid working is offered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective E&S governance and management across both programs, including planning, implementation and reporting.
• Provide expert environmental and social inputs into grant/TA structuring, including ESAPs and monitoring requirements.
• Collaborate with WWF offices, network and partners to deliver objectives.
• Support capacity building of WWF teams and partners on environmental and social risk management.
• Keep the Netherlands-based core team up to date on developments and performance.
• Assist the MEL advisor with annual impact reporting.
• Represent WWF in DFCD-related impact inquiries at external events/meetings.
