Job summary

spriteCloud is seeking an automation engineer to work on client projects across finance, logistics and the public sector. You will build and maintain automation frameworks, wire tests into CI/CD pipelines, and write documentation that teams actually use.

You will advise clients on what to automate, coach QA colleagues, and adapt quickly to unfamiliar codebases. Based in the Netherlands, you may travel to client sites and collaborate with diverse engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or comparable tools.
• API testing experience via Postman, SoapUI or Dredd.
• CI/CD integration: wired tests into a pipeline, not just run them locally.
• ISTQB Foundation or higher (or TMAP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation frameworks for client projects.

• Write documentation that teams actually use and understand.
• Coach QAs around you on best practices and testing approaches.
• Advise clients on what to automate and what not to.
