Job summary

Start People in Wijchen is seeking a hands-on Assembly Worker to join a 15-person team building high-quality trailers. You will move between stations, use manuals, and learn the complete assembly process.

The ideal candidate has a technical background with experience in assembly or as a car mechanic, can read drawings, and speaks English. Dutch is a plus. A permanent day-shift position with team collaboration is offered.

Job description

As an Assembly Worker, you will be part of the assembly department and work together with around 15 colleagues to build high-quality trailers. You will work at different stations and use technical manuals and instructions to assemble and prepare various components.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing and assembling: preparing axles and assembling mechanical parts as part of the trailer construction;
• Electrical and technical work: preparing electrical cables and installing pipework and other technical components;
• Floor preparation: preparing components for the installation of wooden floors;
• Quality control: checking and testing the quality of your work and the assembled components;
• Working together: moving between different workstations and working closely with your colleagues to complete the trailers.

No two days are exactly the same. You will work on different parts of the trailer and gradually learn more about the complete assembly process.
