Jobster in de regio Nijmegen zoekt een hands‑on Assembly Mechanic die trailers en semitrailers bouwt volgens duidelijke instructies. Je werkt samen met collega's aan kwaliteitsvolle producten en voert testen en lekkagetests uit.

Wij bieden een maandsalaris tussen €3.250 en €3.500 bij een 40-urige werkweek, een fulltime functie met uitzicht op vast contract, vaste dagdienst 07:30-16:15, 25 vakantiedagen en 13 ADV dagen, 8% vakantiegeld, reiskostenvergoeding en een informele, lerende werkomgeving.

Qualifications

• MBO-niveau opleiding in een technische richting.
• Eerdere ervaring in een technische montagefunctie.
• Basiskennis van hydrauliek en pneumatiek.
• Fysieke geschiktheid voor hands-on montagem work.
• Proactieve en hands-on houding.
• Goede samenwerking en leergierigheid.
• Eigen huisvesting en vervoer.
• Voldoende Engelse taalvaardigheid om effectief in het team te communiceren.

Responsabilités

• Bouw en montage: monteer trailers en semitrailers volgens duidelijke instructies en sluit leidingen, hydraulische systemen en elektrische componenten aan.
• Pas axles aan en zorg dat alle componenten correct gemonteerd zijn.
• Voer kwaliteits- en veiligheidscontroles uit en test componenten en systemen.
• Werk nauw samen met collega’s en draag bij aan training en vaardigheidsontwikkeling.
• Houd de werkruimte schoon, georganiseerd en veilig volgens de geldende richtlijnen.
• Draagt bij aan hoge kwaliteitsnormen zodat elke trailer veilig de weg op kan.

Wat je gaat doen

As an Assembly Mechanic, you’ll work hands-on on the construction of unique trailers and semi-trailers.

Your work is varied, practical and focused on quality. Your responsibilities include:

• Build and assemble: Assemble trailers and semi-trailers according to clear work instructions, and install and connect piping, hydraulic systems and electrical components;
• Fit and align: Position and align axles and make sure all components are correctly fitted;
• Check and test: Perform quality and safety checks, test components and systems, and carry out leak tests using checklists;
• Work together: Work closely with your colleagues, share your technical knowledge and take part in training to further develop your skills;
• Work safely: Keep your workspace clean, organised and safe while following the applicable safety guidelines;
• Your technical skills and craftsmanship help ensure that every trailer is built to a high standard and is ready to safely hit the road.

• An MBO-level education in a technical field;
• Previous experience in a technical assembly position;
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics;
• The physical ability required for hands-on assembly work;

• Sufficient English language skills to communicate and work effectively within the team.
