Job summary

GreenFlux in Amsterdam is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead three product engineering teams, shape agile practices, and ensure delivery of high-quality software. You will coach engineers, manage performance, and drive architectural decisions to improve reliability and scalability.

We value strategic thinking, strong communication, and a hands-on leadership style. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a plus. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are offered for international candidates.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience leading engineering teams
Strong background in software engineering and quality
Proven ability to coach, provide feedback and develop engineers
Delivery-focused with risk management and improvements
Excellent communication and collaboration across stakeholders
Strategic thinking with ability to translate plans into actions
Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead the engineers of up to three development teams and ensure direction, skills and support
Improve agile ways of working and engineering practices across the department
Drive delivery of high-quality software in a predictable, efficient manner
Promote technical quality, maintainability and scalable architecture
Foster continuous improvement and adoption of modern practices and tools
Develop and maintain high-performing teams through coaching and growth opportunities
Contribute to strategic direction of the Development department
