Job summary

Next Generation Sensors B.V. is seeking an enthusiastic Engineer intern to work on cutting-edge sensor technologies from concept through production while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic and innovative environment.

You will design, develop and validate sensor systems, translate market needs into engineering solutions, and support product development across the lifecycle. This paid internship offers exposure to hardware and software challenges in Maastricht, NL.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (Ideally Python)
• Basic understanding of Raspberry Pi
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of electrical safety and the ability to do safety checks.
• Experience with testing, validation, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Next Generation Sensors (NGS) is entering an exciting growth phase as we expand into new international markets, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented Engineer intern. • Familiarity with embedded software development.
• Experience with CAD tools and product development processes.
• Understanding of quality standards and manufacturing environments.
