Job summary

Eaton is opening an Engineering Excellence role for EMEA operations, based at one of our engineering sites (Prague/Hengelo/Montbonnot-Saint-Martin). You will define and drive the engineering operating model, embedding Lean culture to improve productivity, quality, and delivery across ES EMEA.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, optimize the product development lifecycle, and build CI capability, reporting to senior leadership and shaping engineering strategy across the region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering.
  • 5+ years of technical project/program management or operations excellence experience.
  • Experience leading projects through all stages of the product development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with PDCA, DMAIC or Lean Six Sigma for process improvement and cost-to-develop analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve engineering performance frameworks and KPIs for ES EMEA.
  • Drive operational excellence across ES EMEA with KPI deployment and alignment.
  • Lead end-to-end optimization of the product development lifecycle.
  • Translate performance insights into strategic interventions with cross-functional partners.
  • Lead CI strategy aligned with EBS and manage a portfolio of improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM), RIE, BPI, A3 problem solving and Kaizen activities.
  • Build organizational capability in engineering excellence and performance management.
