Job summary

DNV is seeking an Engineer Energy Systems to support the Netherlands Ministry of Defence in Arnhem. You will join a team of technical experts focusing on energy supply for military vehicles and ships, and you may work in execution or management of projects.

You will collaborate with project managers, client representatives, and consortium partners to deliver knowledge building, design engineering, risk analysis, and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working on energy systems or complex electrical architectures.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Ability to manage multiple work packages within time, budget and quality.
• Familiarity with Defence and Security sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects as Technical Expert, Technical Lead or Project Manager.
• Deliver work packages within the program/projects on time, budget and quality.
• Contribute to projects for the Netherlands MoD, focusing on future power and energy systems.
• Develop market opportunities and grow a commercial mindset.
• Ensure clear, high-quality customer interactions, presentations and reports.
