Job summary

DNV GL in Arnhem, Netherlands, is seeking an Engineer Energy Systems to support the Ministry of Defence with knowledge building, technology development, and engineering of energy systems for military applications. You will join a cross-functional team and be based at our Arnhem office, with a focus on delivering projects on time, budget and quality.

We invite candidates with a technical degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics and an interest in defence and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or (Applied) Physics; early-career candidates encouraged if with Defence affinity.
• Experience in Defence and Security sector or energy systems projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects as Technical Expert, Technical Lead or Project Manager.
• Deliver work packages on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Work on MoD projects in future power and energy systems for soldiers, military vehicles, compounds and ships.
• Grow commercial mindset and develop market opportunities.
• Contribute to clear customer interactions, presentations, and reports.
