Job summary

ING is offering an internship in its Energy Sector Coverage team, focused on applying AI to banking in the energy sector. You will support analyses, live transactions, and an applied-AI project within a global, client-facing context.

The role requires enrollment at a Dutch university for the entire internship, fluency in English, and strong MS Office skills. A hybrid work setup and a monthly allowance of 700 EUR are provided, plus travel and mentoring opportunities.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Dutch university for the full internship period.
Strong interest in practical AI applications and digital tools in business.
Fluent in English; Dutch is a bonus but not required.
Analytical, proactive and comfortable with experimentation and feedback.

Responsibilities

Support client coverage activities including pitch preparation, market research, and financial analysis.
Explore and test practical AI use cases; build simple proofs of concept using AI/automation tools; evaluate outputs and gather user feedback.
Collaborate with product teams to support transaction execution.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
