Job summary

Suburban Inns is seeking a Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen. You will prepare all food items to specifications, follow health standards, and maintain clean, organized workstations.

The role requires flexibility with afternoon/evening shifts and weekend availability. The position offers PART TIME to FULL TIME options with starting pay of $17.00/hour, negotiable by experience, and a range of benefits including discounts, PTO, and insurance for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum Knowledge: ability to interpret/extract information and/or perform arithmetic functions.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and engage with them to ensure they feel welcome.
• Prepare all food items per recipes and portion standards.
• Restock kitchen supplies and manage deliveries using FIFO.
• Notify lead of shortages or waste; maintain sanitary kitchen areas.
• Ensure safety and health regulations are followed; logs kept.
• Set up and break down prep station; assist with menu production.
