Job summary

MSF, also known as Médecins Sans Frontières, via Artsen zonder Grenzen, is seeking an EPREP Coordinator for the Emergency Department. The role focuses on designing, developing and implementing emergency preparedness support across country programs and strengthening policies, tools and guidelines to improve MSF's readiness.

You will transfer policies to country programs, coordinate with desks, and work with People, Talent and L&D teams to deliver trainings, including in-person and remote

Qualifications

• Essential: 4+ years of experience in humanitarian aid working in country programs.
• Strong background in emergency preparedness, response and training.
• Experience with one MSF section in multiple projects/country programmes, incl. emergency projects or high-security settings, and in key coordination roles.
• Experience in acute emergencies, assessments, project planning and MSF mission start-ups.
• Proven ability to plan Emergency Preparedness Planning in multiple contexts.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Proficient with MSF tools and MSF Excel/Word/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice on emergency preparedness to country programs across OCA through deployment and remote support.
• Develop knowledge, trainings, and coaching for EPREP and staff.
• Create EPREP improvement plans and assess needs in country programs.
• Develop training packages, seminars, and workshops from data.
• Contribute to MSF OCA capacity to respond to emergencies.
• Document outcomes and lessons learned to improve preparedness.
