Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Regional Category Manager to optimize temporary labor sourcing across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will lead supplier identification, negotiations, contracts, and regulatory compliance to ensure a reliable, cost-effective labor supply.

In this role you will build strong supplier relationships, manage large regional programs, and collaborate with the Global SCM Category Lead to drive cost efficiency and process reliability in a fast-paced multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a related field is required.
• Experience with temporary labor category management and procurement.
• Knowledge of regional labor laws and compliance across Europe, MEA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for temporary labor.
• Lead end-to-end procurement processes including negotiations and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and immigration requirements.
• Manage relationships with staffing suppliers and agencies.
• Identify risks and implement business continuity measures.
• Collaborate with Global SCM Category Lead to improve strategy.
