Lely is building intelligent robotics for sustainable dairy farming in Maassluis, NL. This Embedded Software Engineer role develops software powering automated agricultural systems, collaborating with engineers, data analysts, and stakeholders to improve animal welfare and farm productivity.

You will design, implement, and test embedded software, optimize performance, and maintain systems while contributing to long-term product stability within an Agile team. Hybrid campus presence encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a computer-related field.
• Strong experience with C++ for complex systems.
• Experience with Embedded Linux and Git is a plus.
• Experience in multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and test embedded software for automated agricultural systems.
• Optimize data structures and algorithms for production-grade performance.
• Maintain existing software and support improvements.
• Ensure quality through design reviews, unit and integration tests.
• Address technical debt and contribute to long-term product stability.
• Participate in Agile processes by setting goals and managing risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define features supporting mission.
