Job summary

Thales Nederland is seeking an Electronics Component Engineer in Hengelo to manage the introduction and registration of electronic components for high-end analog and digital circuits on PCBs. You will liaison with design teams, purchasing, and vendors in an international setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining component databases, policy discussion, ensuring component availability, and addressing obsolescence issues with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Background in hardware design preferred.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Fluency in English required; Dutch/French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Introduce and register electronics components used for analog/digital circuits on PCBs.
• Link with design teams, purchasing, obsolescence engineering and vendors.
• Maintain the electronic components database (off-the-shelf and customized parts).
• Discuss and implement policies related to electronics components.
• Ensure availability and manage purchased components and vendor selection.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to obsolete components and supplies.
