Job summary

InAxtion | Technical People is seeking an experienced E&I Technician for long-term industrial projects. You will install, connect, and commission electrical and instrumentation systems, while upholding safety and quality standards.

This role suits candidates with 2+ years of industrial E&I experience who can read schematics and work in English or Dutch. The position focuses on process industry, petrochemical facilities, energy plants, and manufacturing sites in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial E&I experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Good communication in English and/or Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Installing and assembling junction boxes.
• Installing EX glands and explosion-proof equipment.
• Pulling, laying, and terminating multicore and instrumentation cables.
• Installing and connecting field instruments.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Performing inspections and quality checks.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Working in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Are you an experienced E&I Technician looking for long-term projects in the industrial sector? Do you have experience with electrical installations, instrumentation, and cable installation? Then InAxtion is looking for you!

As an E&I Technician, you will work on a variety of industrial projects within the process industry, petrochemical sector, energy plants, and manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for installing, connecting, and commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Your responsibilities

• Installing and assembling junction boxes.
• Installing EX glands and explosion-proof equipment.
• Pulling, laying, and terminating multicore and instrumentation cables.
• Installing and connecting field instruments.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.

What we are looking for

• Completed technical education in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial E&I experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Good communication skills in English and/or Dutch.
• A proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
