A leading energy solutions provider in Almere is seeking an Electrical Technician to help build the energy transition. In this role, you will assemble and install transformer stations and ensure they meet quality standards. The ideal candidate has a vocational degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in electrical assembly. Become an Electrical Technician at Alfen and help build the energy transition! Work on smart energy solutions such as transformer stations and energy storage systems. At our production location, you directly contribute to the energy infrastructure of tomorrow and a sustainable future.

What will you be doing?

As an Electrical Technician for our Transformer Stations, you are responsible for assembling, installing and completing our high‑quality transformer stations. You work on products that are essential to the energy transition and help ensure a safe and reliable electricity supply.

Your Main Tasks Include

• Checking materials, components, tools and technical drawings.
• Independently performing assembly tasks such as lighting installation, cabling, rack construction, pre‑assembly and final assembly.
• Carrying out quality inspections and aligning work with the Lead Technician.
• Ensuring orderliness, safety and cleanliness within the production environment.
• Guiding apprentices and interns together with your colleagues.

What do we expect from you?

Our ideal candidate is a hands‑on electrical technician with strong attention to detail and a structured work approach. You work accurately, communicate clearly and feel responsible for the work you deliver. You also bring:

• A completed MBO vocational degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in electrical assembly.
• Availability of at least 36 hours per week.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Motivation to help build high‑quality products that truly make an impact.
