Job summary

Xelvin seeks an Electrical Hardware Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for advanced packaging machinery in Eindhoven, Netherlands. You will translate customer requirements into reliable electrical designs using SEE Electrical and collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and production teams.

You will own the full lifecycle from concept to commissioning, contribute to standardization, and focus on reliability, safety, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

Must have MBO/HBO in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in machine building.
Proven experience with SEE Electrical (or similar CAD software).
Solid knowledge of electrical design for machinery (EN60204-1).
Familiarity with industrial automation components (Siemens/Beckhoff/Schneider).

Responsibilities

Develop electrical system designs and schematics using SEE Electrical.
Translate concept designs into electrical solutions for machines and modular systems.
Deliver complete technical product documentation (TPD) including BOMs, schematics and safety files.
Select components with reliability and cost-efficiency in mind.
Ensure compliance with Machinery Directive (CE) and other standards.
Support assembly, testing and commissioning with production and service teams.
Identify and implement design improvements and cost-saving measures.
Contribute to standardization and modularization of the product portfolio.
