Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems Benelux seeks an Electrical Field Service Engineer to manage complex control systems for engines and gensets in a multidisciplinary team.

You will analyze performance, carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose issues, and report findings in English. The role is based in Dordrecht, NL, with a full-time, 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Secondary Vocational Education (MBO 3 or 4) in Electrical/Mechatronica direction or equivalent in courses.
• At least 1–3 years of work experience, preferably in a field service role.
• Electrical knowledge and experience in control and automation systems.
• Ability to work with computers, electronic control systems and measuring equipment.
• Good reporting skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and ensure the performance integrity of engines, gensets and systems; perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Analyse and solve system failures of mechanical, electronic or electrical nature and report findings.
• Verify material condition of systems and solutions for obsolescence when required.
• Perform accurate diagnostics on service using modern diagnostic systems.

For our Benelux Sales & Service Center in Dordrecht, The Netherlands, we are looking for an:

Electrical Field Service Engineer (m/f)

(Fulltime | 40 hours)

In the role of Field Service Engineer you are able to have a good overview of complex, highly accurate control systems for our engines. Together with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, you play a crucial role in getting these systems to the required performance, by understanding the controlsof such systems and looking for the best solutions within those boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and ensure the performance integrity of our engines, gensets and systems. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on our engines as well as on the automation systems.
• Analyse and solve system failures which could be of mechanical, electronic or electrical nature and create reports on your findings and solutions
• Verifying the material condition of the systems and equipment and verifying engineering solutions to solve equipment obsolescence problems as required.
• Performing accurate diagnoses on the service of our systems, assistedby the most modern diagnostic systems.

Your Competences

• Secondary Vocational Education (MBO 3 or 4) in Electrical/Mechatronica direction or equivalent in courses;
• At least 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in a field service role
• Electrical knowledge and experience in the field of control and automation systems
• Ability to work with computers, electronic control systems and measuring equipment;

• Depending on your Seniority: Function Group: F, G or H | Salary bandwidth: €3500 - €5000 gross per month;
