Job summary

Brunswick is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop and optimize (Lithium) battery systems. You’ll work in hybrid Amsterdam labs with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, performance and compliance.

The role involves hands-on testing, data analysis, and staying abreast of battery materials advances, while coordinating with product management on battery questions.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical development or a related domain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrochemistry, material science, and physics.
• Experience with battery testing equipment and characterization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new battery technologies, systems, and components.
• Implement and maintain best practices in battery design, validation, and testing.
• Optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability in battery development.

• Be the main contact for product management for all battery-related questions.

Position Overview

Our Electrical Engineer -is responsible for the design, development, testing, and optimization (sustaining) of (Lithium) batteries and systems.

Essential Functions:

• Design and developnew battery technologies, systems, and components.
• Implement and maintain best practices in battery design, validation, and testing to ensure performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical/Electronic field of study.

Working Conditions:

• While this role includes typical office work - such as documentation, design reviews, and development on your laptop - it also requires hands-on work in our electronics labs.
• Flexible work schedule is required with hybrid onsite requirement.
• Occasional travel to customers, suppliers and discipline related conferences and seminars.

This exciting position offers an annual base salary range between 62,500 EUR to 85,800 EUR annually. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, and location.

This salary will be pro-rated based on any part-time working agreement.

This position is eligible for participation in discretionary bonus plan, in accordance with company policies.
