Job summary

Brunswick Corporation in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and optimize lithium battery systems. The role combines office work with hands-on lab involvement in a hybrid setup, with occasional travel and visa sponsorship.

You will lead battery technology initiatives, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate across R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams. A BSc in EE/chem Eng/Materials Sci or related field is required, with hands-on testing

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications.
• Stay updated on advancements in battery materials and technologies.
• Be the main contact for product management for all battery related questions

Position Overview

Our Electrical Engineer -is responsible for the design, development, testing, and optimization (sustaining) of (Lithium) batteries and systems.

Essential Functions

• Design and developnew battery technologies, systems, and components.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical/Electronic field of study.

Working Conditions

• While this role includes typical office work - such as documentation, design reviews, and development on your laptop - it also requires hands-on work in our electronics labs.

• Flexible work schedule is required with hybrid onsite requirement.

• Occasional travel to customers, suppliers and discipline related conferences and seminars.

This exciting position offers anannual basesalary range between62,500EUR to85,800 EUR annually. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, and location.

This salary will be pro-rated based on any part-time working agreement.

This position is eligible for participation in discretionary bonus plan, in accordance with company policies.
